Common Name: Trout Lily, White Trout Lilly or Dog Tooth Violet

Latin Name:  Erythronium albidum

Where to find Trout Lily: moist forests; Spring epheral blooms early May.  It is common to see large stands of single Trout Lily leaves with only one or two blooming plants. Single leaved plants are juvenile.
